The parking problem in the markets of the capital city Jaipur is likely to be solved in the coming days. Work on this has been started on behalf of the Smart City Project. It has started at Sawai Mansingh Hospital in the form of smart parking.
In the next phase, Smart parking will also be started in the major markets of the walled city. With this, residents will be able to book car parking before going to the market. i.e. when they go shopping. If anyone goes shopping in the city, then they will not have trouble finding parking space for the car and will be able to park their vehicle at the identified place.
Work in progress
Work has been started in the Kishanpole market, 800 sensors will be installed in the Johri market and more than 300 sensors will be installed in the Aatish market.
You will be able to book parking through sensors in Kishanpole Bazar, Johri Bazar, Chaura Rasta and Aatish Market.
Apart from the key parking of SMS hospital, this facility has been started at Dhanwantri and Troma parking. Here the vehicles are counted through the camera.
Booking will be done like this
Vehicle Owners will have to download the JSCL parking app from the play store.
OTP will come along with entering the vehicle number and owner’s name.
You can see the availability of places where the car can be parked in the app itself.
You will be able to book in advance for car parking two hours before departure.
Beneficial for Residents of outlying areas
Parking is a big problem in the walled city area. People go shopping from outside areas, but there is no parking available. Due to this, sometimes people have to return without purchasing anything. In such a situation, the problem of parking the car will be resolved with smart parking.
According to the CEO of Smart City Project, Avadhesh Meena, “Apart from JDA and corporation, parking operated in private malls can also be connected to this platform. Smart City will not charge any fee for this. Smart parking has started. In the coming time, other parking places will also be connected with the app.”
