The summer season in Jaipur is marked by immense heat and dryness. The average temperature is around 30°C daily. By the mid of March to the first part of July, which is the summer months here, the temperature varies between 25 to 33 degrees Centigrade.

Summers are scorching hot, and sightseeing wouldn’t be a very pleasant experience. If still, you feel summer as a suitable vacation time for you, make sure you use little precautions. The city receives medium rainfall during this period but the temperature remains hot and humid. Though monsoons bring rain but provide no relief and the heat still dominates. However, during August and September, Jaipur experiences frequent and heavy showers and thunderstorms.

Talking about the monsoons, they are quite hot and humid which isn’t an ideal time to visit too. However, compared to other Indian regions, Jaipur is the best destination for planning a vacation in monsoon. This is because the other regions received heavy rains and are miserably wet while Jaipur receives fewer rains and after slight rains, the city looks much vibrant, greener and cleaner

October sees the gradual advent of winter. So, the winters step in from October and last till February. During these months the Jaipur weather remains very pleasant and soothing. You can also encounter dense fog cover in early mornings. In winters the climate of Jaipur dwells temperature ranging from a minimum of 13 degrees to 25 degrees. The city is situated at an altitude of 431 meters from sea level and its winter nights are icy cold at times. At such times, you may experience cold waves and the temperatures turn to chilly cold. 

Minimum Temperature: 5 ºC

Maximum Temperature: 22 ºC

It is the most ideal time to visit Jaipur as during winters the weather of the city remains mild and pleasant during these months. In winters you can tour and explore the city to the fullest. 

  • Monuments: There are several popular places such as Jantar Mantar, Rambagh Palace, Abhaneri step-well, Statue circle, Jawahar circle, Patrika gate, Birla mandir, Jal Mahal that is a must-visit in Jaipur. 
  • Nearby places: Places like Pushkar, Sariska, Neemrana, Sambhar lake, Ranthambore are worth a visit. There are several trekking and adventurous spots as well.
