Students will be given free safari in wildlife sanctuaries of Rajasthan

Students of Rajasthan will be given free safari in different wildlife sanctuaries of the state on the occasion of Wildlife Week starting next month.

From next month, the Forest Department will provide free travel for school children studying in Rajasthan to different wildlife sanctuaries of the state. Online applications will be asked for this. This event will be held on the occasion of Wildlife Week starting next month.

According to Forest Department officials, this safari will be conducted for 10,000 students. These safaris will include Sariska, Ranthambore, Ramgarh Vishdhari, Mukundara Hills, Jhalana, Amagarh, Talchapar and other wildlife sanctuaries of the state.

Apart from this, many activities will also be organized by the department during this week, which will be held at different places and thousands of people will be involved in it. The main purpose of conducting this free safari is to increase and attract people’s interest towards wildlife and nature in Rajasthan.

According to Forest Department officials, students will apply online. For this, an online link will be given on the department’s site, in which students can apply.

Safari will start again for tourists from October 1

Sariska, Ranthambore will be open for tourists in Rajasthan from October 1. In Ranthambore, due to the first 2 days of the month (on 1st and 2nd October) being a weekend, 5 out of 10 zones are full and there is no space in the evening shift or the morning shift.

There are 2 Tiger Centuries and 3 Leopard Centuries in Rajasthan, where a large number of tourists visit every year.
