Ranthambore National Park & Sariska Tiger Reserve now Open for tourists

The Rajasthan forest department has now opened jungle safaris in Ranthambore National Park and Sariska Wildlife Sanctuary for the public.

All the wildlife lovers get ready to book your slots and capture Rajasthan’s amazing wildlife. After 3 Months Monsoon Break Ranthambore National Park and Sariska Wildlife Sanctuary are all set to provide visitors a chance to experience a journey in the wild. 

With the onset of tourism season in Rajasthan, the Rajasthan forest department has now opened jungle safaris for the public. 

Advance, normal and tatkal bookings for safaris started last week. As of now booking for Ranthambore National Park and Sariska Tiger Reserve is already full for the next couple of days. Meanwhile, you can make tatkal bookings on the state government forest department portal and National Park’s official website.

Ranthambore Safari

Jeep safaris in Ranthambore are available from October 1 this year to June 30, 2023. Normal safaris during morning and evening hours are open for now and more services are slated to become available in a phased manner. The move is aimed to offer a smooth transition during the tourism season, ensuring less disturbance for the wildlife and maintaining the animal-human interaction balance.

Sariska Tiger Reserve

Meanwhile, for jungle safari at Sariska Tiger Reserve, you can make an offline booking at the Sariska Gate and Tehla Gate ticket counters. Online booking option for Sariska is available at Rajasthan forest department’s official website.

Principal Secretary, Rajasthan Forest, Environment and Climate Change, stated, “More gypsies will be now available on advance booking for various safaris as gypsies kept for current bookings have also been moved for advance booking. Canters would continue to be available on current booking.”
