Ramayan circuit tour 2019 to start from November 3

After the successful tour of 2018, the Indian railways is all set for its 2019 journey which will start from Jaipur on November 3.

The Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) will start the second edition of this unique pilgrim train, Shri Ramayan Express. This tour will cover all the important destinations associated with Lord Rama’s life in 16 days.

It is an all-inclusive tour package. It covers all meals, accommodation and wash and change facilities in Dharamshala, all transfers, sight-seeing arrangements, and a tour manager of IRCTC. The train has a capacity for 800 passengers.

The train will be flagged off from Jaipur via Delhi. The train will then cover the important destinations of Ramayana circuit such as Ayodhya followed by Hanuman Garhi Ramkot and Kanak Bhawan temple along with Nandigram, Sitamarhi, Janakpur, Varanasi, Prayag, Shringverpur, Chitrakoot, Nasik, Hampi, and Rameshwaram.

Shri Ramayana Yatra-Sri Lanka’s pilgrimage will have two components, one each in India and Sri Lanka. The railways will charge separately for Indian leg and Sri Lanka leg. The people opting for the Sri Lanka leg will have to board the flight from Chennai.The bookings for the train can be done on official IRCTC’s
