A seven-dimensional (7D) Theatre is going to open at Science Park near Shastri Nagar in Jaipur. This will be the biggest 7D theatre in Rajasthan. The work in the theatre has already begun and Jaipurites will be able to enjoy the movies by the end of this year. It will be thrown open for the park visitors.
7D theatre will allow you to experience amazing seven-dimensional visual effects, according to the movie scenes. It has advanced technologies with live effects like light, sound, smoke, snow, rain showers, smell, and seat movement virtually. The theatre will have a seating capacity of 48 people with pocket-friendly ticket prices. This project will cost Rs 1 crore.
“The theatre will promote education-based content. The park already has a 3D theatre, this 7D theatre will be an updated version of 3D and 5D technologies, said the park officials.
Some malls in Jaipur already have 7D theatres with a limited seating capacity of a maximum of 15 people. Also, they charge up to Rs 150 to 200 per person.
Kailash Mishra, curator of the science park said, this 7D theatre will be the biggest one in Rajasthan. About 400 tourists visit the park daily. The aim is to increase the tourist footfall at the park.
The Science Park is operated by the department of science and technology, spreads over a 3.14-acre area. The park timings are from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm and 2.30 pm to 6:00 pm. It remains closed on Mondays. The entry is Rs 20 per person. It has many sections, galleries, an activity zone, and a planetarium.
