News Rajasthan

The state government has launched a new scheme for all the women who were forced to leave working due to unfavourable circumstances. This scheme was launched in an endeavour to help women restart their livelihood and to promote their financial independence.

As per the announcement, about 15,000 women will get employment in the next three years under the ‘Back to Work’ campaign. Not only this, work from home opportunities will also be provided to the women who are interested but can not go to the workplace. This will be done with the help of the private sector to strengthen the purpose of women empowerment in the state.

Widows, abandoned, divorced and violence victims to be given priority

The State Government has come up with a plan to provide employment chances to women who had to quit working due to some reason. The scheme of government is intended towards promoting the financial independence of women across the state.

The plan will prioritise widows, abandoned or divorced women and the victims of violence over others. For this, the Directorate of Women Empowerment and Corporate Social Responsibility organisations will generate the structure of the Single Window System to allocate job spaces for all those women who are eager to work again. These women will be linked with the vacant jobs in the private sector based on a categorised database of the applicants on the website.

Skill-training sessions will also be conducted

Apart from this, this initiative by the state administration will not only support women to acquire monetary protection but also endeavours to provide skill training through Rajasthan Knowledge Corporation Limited (RKCL).

As per the information, the interested contenders will be able to register on the website of the partner companies. Besides, training facilities for re-skilling or up-skilling will also be provided to the women as per their necessity. The selection will be done on the basis of the registration on the online website. A monitoring committee will be formed to administer and ensure the effective execution of this scheme.
