Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation is now going to start helicopter travel at major tourist places in the state. In a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Tourism Development Corporation, it was decided to start a helicopter taxi service in the state.
A meeting of the Board of Directors of the Tourism Development Corporation was organized on Wednesday in which it was decided to start a helicopter taxi service on the lines of Palace on Wheels. With this air travel, tourists will be able to see the major tourist places of Rajasthan.
On the other hand, now RTDC will also prepare package tours on the lines of private tour operators. Tourists will be able to travel around Rajasthan by sitting in an RTDC car. Along with this, it was decided to give promotions to RTDC employees in the Board of Directors meeting.
According to RTDC Chairman Dharmendra Rathore, “soon air taxi service will be started in Rajasthan. With this, the tourists coming to the state will be able to travel by helicopter to major tourist places. Major tourist places of the state such as Jaipur, Udaipur, Sawai-Madhopur, and Pushkar will be included in the helicopter route. For this, we have started the work of obtaining permission from the Civil Aviation Department.”
He further added that the Tourism Development Corporation will also start package tours in Rajasthan. Along with Jaipur, major tourist places and cities of the state will also be included in these tours. For this, a car taxi service will be started by ITDC itself. With car tour service packages the tourist will be able to admire the beauty of Rajasthan. An initial package plan is being prepared for this which will soon be opened for tourists.
1.25 crore benefit from Palace on Wheels
Palace on Wheels is loved by tourists from all over the world. This is the reason that in the initial month, the Rajasthan government earned a profit of Rs.1.25 crore from the operation of the Palace on Wheels. This benefit is likely to increase further in future. There are 10 royal trains in the world. Out of them, only the Palace on Wheels has started operating after the Corona period which is a matter of pride not only for Rajasthan but also for India.
