According to the officials of Rajasthan Roadways, the benefit of free travel will be available only in normal and express buses of roadways. There will be a charge for traveling in AC and Volvo buses. Along with this, the free travel benefit will only be available in the territory of Rajasthan. On going out of Rajasthan, you will have to pay money.
Hands-on tickets will also be available
The benefit of free travel will continue for just a day. It will start from 12 PM on 10th August and will be available till 11:59 PM on 11th August. In addition to advance tickets, zero balance tickets will be issued by the operator inside the bus on the day of Rakhi.
According to the report received from the roadways administration, at present, more than 3500 buses are being operated in the entire state. These buses will also be running on the day of Rakhi. In view of the large crowd of women in the buses, the frequency of buses can also be increased.
