Recently inaugurated Rajasthan International Centre (RIC) at Jaipur is all set for bookings and memberships from June. From June 1, the center will be accepting applications. However, an invitation for membership applications will be released in mid-June

As per the RIC director, Nihal Chand Goel, “We are still working on the booking tariffs and membership fees. As far as membership applications are concerned, citizens of any nation can apply.”

For booking the venue, applicants will have to submit applications online. After this, the RIC officials will analyze their purpose for booking the venue. Once the applications get approved, a booking amount will have to be submitted to get it confirmed.

According to Goel, “We will only allow those events that serve the purpose of the center. Like cultural functions and seminars. Marriage ceremonies will not be allowed. Once we start getting members, we have to give preference to them. So, the process of analyzing events is very crucial.”

RIC was inaugurated by Rajasthan chief minister Gehlot on April 17, 2023. The foundation stone of this project was laid ten years ago in April 2013. Before this, the Jaipur Development Authority had organized a competition here in 2012, which included participation of 17 renowned architects from all over India. Later on September 19, 2012, a Jaipur- based designer was selected the consultant architect by the screening committee formed by JDA.

As of now only a few auditoriums and seminar halls are open. Other auditoriums and seminar halls including the two restaurants would take another few months to open.
