Rajasthan International Center ready, inauguration on 17 April

CM Ashok Gehlot will inaugurate Rajasthan International Center on Monday, 17th April, it is built for hosting International events.

Pink city has got a new destination to host International level events. The much-awaited Rajasthan International Centre (RIC) located in the Jhalana Institutional area of Jaipur is ready and will be inaugurated on Monday, 17 April by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot.

Rajasthan International Centre is built at a cost of Rs 130 crore. The foundation stone of this center was laid by Gehlot on April 19, 2013 while he was the Chief Minister. This project will be inaugurated after 10 years.

The available facilities in the center include an auditorium with a capacity for 700 persons, a convention center with a capacity of 500 persons, two mini auditoriums with a seating capacity of 170 each, an exhibition area with a capacity of 500, 3 conference halls, 3 lecture halls, 2 restaurants, and an administrative section.

These will be the features

  • LED TV and WiFi facility will be available in the member lounge. 
  • Double basement parking for 240 vehicles has also been made. 
  • Exhibition hall, restaurant for 125 persons.
  • Central lobby will also be built on the ground floor. 
  • Three landscape gardens have been developed. 
  • A guest house is built having gym facilities.

The interior construction of the center is being done on the lines of the architecture of Rajasthan. 

On the ground floor 

Convention Hall: Its interior is designed like the City Palace and Hawa Mahal of Jaipur. A garden is also attached to the hall.

The walls of the main hall are decorated with wall patterns of the palace, arches of the Jaisalmer Fort. It is carved out of Jaisalmer stone. 

Central Lobby: The central lobby will be visible as soon as you enter the porch. Glass thikri art work on the walls is engraved with gold leafing work. 

On the first floor 

Mini Auditorium: Two auditoriums have been built. LED display panels, projectors have been arranged on the stage. This mini auditorium is prepared in the Marwar pattern. 

Multipurpose hall: Arch windows will light the hall. Paintings will be seen on the walls. Tableaux of lakes and palaces are engraved between the arches.

Conference Hall: Two halls have been made. The conference hall is built in Jodhpur’s Marwar style, where a glimpse of the traditional arches and monuments of mandore park will be seen.

On the second floor 

Library: A library consisting of 40 work stations and 20 desktops has been created here. Now there are 1000 books. Capacity to hold 2500 books. 

Lecture Hall: There are two halls. These have interactive display panels installed. 

Restaurant: Open terrace restaurant has also been developed.
