The Rajasthan government has issued new guidelines after a decline in Covid cases. Now educational institutions will open at 100% capacity, there is no restriction of number in all types of functions including marriage. Guidelines will come into force from November 15.

As per the guidelines issued, all government and private educational institutions of the state will be able to open with 100% seating capacity from November 15. This includes schools, colleges, universities and coaching. The restriction of the number limit in marriage ceremonies has also been done away. The requirement of the first and second dose of the Covid vaccine is still mandatory.

Home Department issued the order

According to the Principal Secretary of the Home Department, Abhay Kumar, “Classes from 1st to 12th in all government and private schools, as well as universities and colleges of the state, can be started with 100% capacity from November 15. In all coaching institutes, both educational and non-educational staff will also be able to come in full capacity and students will be able to study in 100% capacity.

Number limit removed from marriages and other ceremonies

The state government has also given relaxation for inviting the number of people in marriage ceremonies or other auspicious works. Now people can attend all the events and ceremonies as well as the marriage functions in full capacity. It has been approved under the rules of the Covid Guidelines. Along with this, social gatherings including political, cultural, religious events and festivals will also be fully approved in public places.

A decline in covid cases

There has been a steady decline in positive cases due to the decrease in Covid-19 infection for the last few days. But the covid appropriate behaviour should remain in practice. Masks will continue to be mandatory for the general public along with test-tracks, treatment protocols and vaccinations. It is necessary to take care of sanitization, a distance of two yards and ventilation in closed places.
