President Draupadi Murmu is on a two-day visit to Rajasthan. After becoming the President, she has come to Rajasthan for the first time. The President also inaugurated the Constitution Park built at the Raj Bhavan in Jaipur.

The President reached Jaipur airport on January 3 by a special army aircraft. From the airport, the President reached Amar Jawan Jyoti and paid homage to the martyrs. From here she went to Raj Bhavan located in Civil Lines and inaugurated the Constitution Park built there.

After the inauguration of the Constitution Park, the President also observed the beautification works including the peacock pillar, Gandhi statue, statue of Maharana Pratap’s horse Chetak at Raj Bhavan.

During this, many public representatives including Governor Kalraj Mishra, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, Assembly Speaker Dr. CP Joshi, Leader of Opposition Gulabchand Kataria, PCC Chief Govind Singh Dotasara, BJP State President Satish Poonia were present in the programme.

Constitution Park will open two days a week

This Constitution Park built in Raj Bhavan will be opened for common people every two days a week. This park will be visited in 50-50 slots. The cost of building this park will be around Rs 9.15 crore. Statues of personalities who contributed to the making of the constitution have been installed in this park. Their contribution has engraved the structure and values ​​of the Constitution in stone.

Apart from this, visitors will be informed about the Constitution Park through audio-visual medium. The center of main attraction in the park is a 10 by 12 feet statue of Mahatma Gandhi made of gunmetal running a charkha. Apart from this, a marble statue of Maharana Pratap and his horse Chetak has been installed here, which inspires the bravery and sacrifice of the brave warrior of Rajasthan for the motherland.

Schedule of the other programs the president will attend

After inaugurating the Constitution Park at Raj Bhavan, the President laid the virtual foundation stone of 1000 MW Solar Power Station in Bikaner. The President then left for Udaipur from Jaipur. After a short stay at Udaipur’s Dabok airport, she reached Manpur on Abu Road in a special army helicopter to attend the program of Prajapita Brahmakumari Ishwariya Vishwavidyalaya as the chief guest. After a night stay in Abu, the President will join the National Jamboree of Bharat Scouts and Guides at Rohat in Pali. After this, she will leave for Delhi from Jodhpur.
