Power crisis in the state, now power cut for 1 to 3 hours

Electricity crisis deepens again in Rajasthan now there will be 1 to 3 hours power cut in villages, cities and industrial areas.

Once again the power crisis has deepened in Rajasthan. Now there will be a power cut for 1 to 3 hours in all areas of the city, village and industry. The cuts will be made in the morning in cities and villages and in the evening in industrial areas across the state.

In district headquarters other than divisional headquarters, there will be an hour-long power cut between 7.30 am and 8.30 am daily. While there will be cuts between 6.30 am to 8.30 am in cities and villages and between 5 pm to 8 pm in big industries.

No Power cut in 7 cities of divisional headquarters of the state

Industrial areas include industries with a load of more than 125 KVA, which will have to operate the unit at 50 percent less load than the rated capacity for three hours. After the power management failure, the Energy Development Corporation has issued a schedule of cuts.

In this also only 7 cities of divisional headquarters Jaipur, Jodhpur, Ajmer, Bharatpur, Bikaner, Kota and Udaipur have been kept out of deduction. The corporation has cited rabi farming season as the reason behind the cut. Electricity consumption is increasing rapidly here. The concerned officers have been asked to strictly follow it.

Effect on large industries

Production of large industries in industrial areas will be affected. These include 14184 industrial units in the state. These include cement, textile, steel and other big industries.

Ajmer Discom – 5592 Industrial Unit

Where and when will the cuts happen?

Exemptions: Japanese investment zones are excluded from the deduction. Apart from this, there will be no cut in drinking water supply, hospital, oxygen plant, military service.

Cities and villages with a population of more than five thousand: 6.30 am to 7.30 am

In all district headquarters cities (except seven cities of divisional headquarters) – 7.30 am to 8.30 am

Industrial units (Industries with load more than 125 KVA) – from 5 to 8 pm (they will have to run the unit at 50 percent less load than the prescribed)
