From today, the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) will accept application forms for Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teacher REET – 2022. The students have been expected to submit the forms online. The time limit to submit the forms is one month and the last date for the form submission is May 18.

According to the directions issued by RBSE, the students have to upload a passport-size photograph with the form. The photo should be recent and not more than 3 months old. They will also need to upload their secondary education mark sheet. Along with this, the students will also need to provide their mobile number and email address so that they get information and updates about the exam on time.

Apart from this, the submission of only one application would be approved. If a student submits more than one application, then it is his or her responsibility to remove the other applications submitted. There should be only one application online before the last date. If more than one application of a person is found, the form would be rejected.

Also, the REET certificate which earlier had a validity of three years will now have lifetime validity. The exam is supposed to be held on July 23 and July 24.

REET – 2022 is being reconducted. The REET performed earlier was suspended amid reports of paper leaks and cheating. The Rajasthan government had recently introduced The Rajasthan Public Examination Bill (Measures for Prevention of Unfair Means in Recruitment), 2022 to curb paper leaks and cheating cases in government recruitment exams.

In the recently introduced bill, there are strict provisions of punishment including up to 10-year imprisonment and penalties in the form of fines up to Rs 10 crore and attachment/ confiscation of property.

As per the bill, anyone linked with the examination, including the examinee, or someone mocking, or trying to leak the question paper, obtaining the paper in an illegal way, or helping the examinee in public examination in an illegal way, shall be penalized with detention between five and 10 years and a fine from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 10 crore.
