In Rajasthan, the beneficiaries of the food security scheme will now be able to get ration material from Jan Aadhar card. On the budget announcement of the government, the collector has implemented it. NFSA beneficiaries will get ration material from this card, 2.5 lakh families will get the benefit
According to Collector Chinmayi Gopal, “The state government had made a budget announcement to give the benefits of the public distribution system through Jan Aadhar card. This system has been implemented. Now the ration given by the state government will be given to the people through Jan Aadhar card instead of ration card.
Surendra Kumar Jain, Deputy Director, Economic and Statistics Department, Tonk said that the members of the NFSA (Food Security Scheme) ration cardholder family who have not enrolled for Jan Aadhar, should go to their nearest E-Mitra center and get Jan Aadhar enrollment done for free. so that in future they get the benefit of ration material as well as other public welfare schemes,
Other public schemes include Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme, Palanhar Yojana, Chief Minister Kanyadan Yojana, Social Security Pension, Pre-Matric and Post-Matric Scholarship, Construction Workers Skill Development Scheme and other schemes.
According to the DSO, LR Meena, “The government has taken this decision in the direction of providing benefits of all the schemes with a single card. This will bring great relief to the people. This will give relief to about 2.5 lakh families.”
