In view of the increasing traffic and pollution caused by vehicles in Jaipur, social organizations have decided to organize Cyclothon to promote No Vehicle Day.
In this event to be held on September 25, more than 1000 people will ride bicycles and will take an oath that they will not drive their vehicle for one day every month and will only cycle.
It will have rides of 100 km, 40 km, 20 km, 10 km, 5 km and 2 km. Along with this, people will be made aware that No Vehicle Day will be celebrated in Jaipur on the first of every month. In the event, people will be asked to cycle, use public transport and car pool on the first of every month and not to drive their vehicles. With this, the health of both the city and public will be good.
To promote it, an event will also be organized on 17th September at Maharana Pratap Auditorium in Jaipur. Grand musical show and organ donor motivator will be honored on this day. In this program, the family of organ donors and the organizations working as motivators and supporters, Jaipur Police will also be honored.
