The assumptions about the marriage of actress Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal have been put to rest. The couple’s upcoming nuptial ceremony is to be held at Rajasthan fort. They are to tie the knot at the 700-year-old fort, Six Senses Hotel at Barwara Fort of Sawai Madhopur.

Vicky-Katrina’s wedding functions will run for three days

The hotel has been booked for the wedding function which will run for three days from December 7 to December 12. Also, preparations have also been made for the buffet for the guests. The theme of the wedding will be Rajwada. Recently, a team of 10 members from Mumbai reached Hotel Barwara Fort and put the confirmation stamp on the rumours of the wedding. 

According to the hotel management, the booking has been confirmed and the team saw the arrangements as per the events to be held in the wedding. Right from the groom’s entry to the Mehndi function, and the programs to be held, its full outline has been prepared. However, the schedule of the programs to be held and the arrival of celebrities has not been announced yet.

2 luxury hotels and Dharamshala booked

Many event companies will organize this VIP wedding. There will be different companies for different events. For this, hundreds of employees of companies will come, for whose stay booking is being done in the city’s hotels and Dharamshala from 6 to 10 December.

Booking of 26 rooms including halls in A-category Dharamshala of Chauth Mata Mandir Trust has been done from 6 to 10 December. Along with this, 16 rooms have also been booked from 5 to 10 December in Hotel Shivpriya Palace located in Chauth Mata Mela Ground. Representatives of these event companies are scouting rooms in other hotels in Sawai Madhopur as well.

The fort is 700 old built in 14th century

The century-old Barwara Fort was erected in the 14th century and many kings contributed to the construction of this fort. With the passage of time this grand fort turned into ruins and remained so until 2010 when the fort was bought by the Cosmos Company and the renovation work began. Nearly Rs 150 crore were spent on converting this 700-year-old Rajputana style fort into a hotel. 

The hotel has the Fort Suite and the Aravalli Suite luxury rooms that offer stunning views of the countryside, Barwara Lake and the Aravalli range. The cost of the luxury rooms ranges from 65 thousand to Rs 1.25 lakh per day. This one-acre property is located close to Ranthambore National Park, the natural habitat of tigers and many other wild animals.
