Dust storm with a speed of 30-40 km/hour and light rainfall in many areas of the capital. Several trees and electric poles got uprooted, power supply and traffic were affected.

According to the reports, the capital received rains in late night on Thursday. The weather was clear by Friday morning. At five o’clock in the evening, the weather again took a turn and walked in with a velocity of 40-50 km per hour. For one hour, several headings were uprooted from the dust storm.

There have been rains in many parts of the city. The day temperature dropped by 2 degrees to 37.5 degrees Celsius.

After the storm on Friday evening in the city, there was power failure in 50 colonies of Sanganer and other areas including Pratap Nagar, Jagatpura, Agra Road.

Many people tried calling the control room to register the complaints but they got no relief. There have been more than 200 complaints of electricity power cut in the city. After the storm, cases of fault and tripping increased.

Several commuters face trouble returning home from offices. While many of them remained wherever they were till the dust storm lasted. The dust storm lasted for 45 minutes.

Three flights were diverted from Delhi to Jaipur. due to bad weather and trouble with the landing. These flights kept flying in the sky for 30 minutes before landing.

The Jaipur MET officer said that due to the active participation of Western disturbance, there is constant rain in the state. Similar conditions may prevail in the next 24 hours.
