Delhi election 2020: AAP heads back to power in Delhi

News

In recent assembly elections 2020, AAP records third-time consecutive victory under the leadership of Arvind Kejriwal. Arvind Kejriwal led party AAP stunned BJP by defeating them. AAP marked a mega victory with 63 out of 70 assembly seats while the BJP is ahead in seven constituencies.

Kejriwal addressed his party workers from the party headquarters and said, “He said that votes are for those who make schools, hospitals and mohalla clinics. This is a new kind of politics. This is not just a Delhi victory, but a victory for India”.

AAP party workers celebrated the AAP party’s victory in the Delhi Assembly election on Statue Circle in Jaipur. After the victory, AAP supporters in Jaipur celebrated a vehicle rally from the party office in Bani Park to Badi Chaupar and then reached Chhoti Chaupar and ended the rally at Statue Circle.

The reason behind the AAP party’s historic win is said to be their ‘positive’ campaign of their development in various fields. The people of Delhi have voted on the basis of the development in the foundation and up-gradation of government schools, development of mohalla clinic, check on private school fee, relief in water and electricity bills, free DTC bus rides, development of unapproved colonies, CCTV cameras, and street lights installation, Teerth-Yatra and some additional developmental operations that were arranged across the city.

His positive campaign and development policy proved to be the stairs to reach this major win. Kejriwal communicated directly with people and acknowledged their issues. He promised a positive campaign when the Election Commission announced the dates for Assembly polls in the Capital city.

Kejriwal said the AAP will run a positive campaign. “We will ask for votes from both BJP and Congress supporters. We will go door-to-door and urge supporters of the Congress and the BJP to vote for us,” he said.
