In fear of the recently spreading new version of the Covid virus in China, the government taking lessons from the last three waves of the epidemic may soon release new guidelines on Holi as a precautionary step.

New Covid guidelines may come up on Holi

The recent tweet from CM Gehlot is an indication that such a step could be taken. In his latest tweet, CM Ashok Gehlot said that there has been a rapid increase in the cases of corona in China. When the cases of Covid worldwide have decreased, there is again an increase in Covid cases in China. This is a little panicking as 2 years ago the Coronavirus started in China itself.

Observing the situation in China, the central government should consider controlling the people travelling to and from China. No negligence should be taken by taking lessons from the first three waves of Covid. Given this, because of the overcrowding on Holi, the Gehlot government may issue a new guideline of Covid Protocol.

According to sources, Gehlot has also taken feedback from the officers of the Medical and Health Department and senior doctors, specialists regarding the cases of corona in Rajasthan. The situation of Corona and compliance with the protocol are also being discussed with Collectors, Divisional Commissioners, Home Department officials.

Lockdown started in China

According to the National Health Commission of China, 3122 new positive cases of corona have been found in China on Sunday. 1524 cases have been recorded on Saturday. After the rapidly increasing cases of corona in China, the administration has started taking strict action. People have been urged to wear face masks and wash their hands frequently.

Lockdown again in Changchun city of China

China has imposed a lockdown a day earlier in Changchun city with a population of 9 million. The nucleic acid test of people coming to Beijing has been made compulsory. People have been banned from going to public places, eating and drinking in groups and attending meetings for 7 days after entering the city.
