Wildlife lovers visiting Jhalana leopard safari in Jaipur will have to pay more money to book gypsy vehicles. For the first time after launching the safari, the forest department has increased the Jhalana leopard safari booking price for gypsy.

The new price to book a gypsy for six people is Rs 2358 for the domestic tourists which were earlier Rs 2316. While international tourists will pay Rs 4098 to book a gypsy. It was earlier Rs 3906.

According to a forest department officer, Janeshwar Singh, “The tourists are taken on Jhalana panther safari twice daily in the morning and evening. There are 10 vehicles for the safari, each can accommodate up to 120 visitors. The revenue will be used for stepping up the security arrangement and provide better facility to wildlife lovers.”

The safari for the Jhalana jungles was launched last year in May by Vasundhara Raje. The tourist area of forest is spread over an area of 20 square kilometers having 31 panthers along with other wildlife animals. The safari has gained a lot of popularity since last year among all tourists.
