Jaipur to start new flights anticipating the boost in tourist footfall

Jaipur airport to begin new national and international flights to increase the connectivity foreseeing a boost in Tourist movement.

With the start of the winter season after a month, the tourist movement will increase in Rajasthan. In view of this, Jaipur International Airport has released its winter schedule with 4 new international flights and direct flights to Mumbai, Udaipur and others incoming. 

The move is aimed at increasing the connectivity and offering a hassle-free travel option to travellers across multiple cities in India. 

In this schedule, 3 airlines companies have proposed to start new international flights in 4 countries. There will be direct connectivity from Jaipur to Malaysia and Qatar and daily flight to Bangkok, Dubai. Along with these, several airline operators are starting direct domestic flights increasing Jaipur’s regional connectivity with three different cities, Mumbai, Udaipur and Ahmedabad. 

International flights will start for these countries

According to the reports, currently there are daily flights to Dubai, Sharjah and Muscat, while 4 days a week to Bangkok. 

At present, people from many parts of Rajasthan including Shekhawati go to Dubai, Sharjahan, Muscat and Doha for employment. For Doha, these people have to change flights from Dubai or Sharjah. Now people will benefit from starting a flight from Jaipur to Doha directly. 

Moreover, a large number of people go to Bangkok, Pattaya, and Kuala Lumpur for vacations. There is currently only one flight from Jaipur to Bangkok that runs 4 times a week. Also there are no flights to Kuala Lumpur yet. People have to go to Delhi first to go here. With the start of this flight, people will not need to go to Delhi. 

AirAsia operates 4 days a week for Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia.

Indigo operates daily from Jaipur to Doha and from Jaipur to Dubai.

Domestic flights for these cities

Four new flights will start especially towards Udaipur and Ahmedabad, and will cater to international and national passengers as Udaipur is one of the most visited tourist spots in India. Of the four flights, two will be operated on a daily basis by Vistara from Mumbai to Jaipur, and back. Apart from this, SpiceJet will operate one flight from Jaipur to Udaipur, and Indigo will operate one from Jaipur to Ahmedabad.

Flight no. UK-0561 – Departure: 11:40 AM; Arrival: 01:30 PM

Flight no. UK-0563 – Departure: 6:15 PM; Arrival: 8:10 PM

Jaipur to Mumbai:

Flight no. UK-0562 – Departure: 2:05 PM; Arrival: 4:05 PM

Flight no. UK-0564 – Departure: 8:45 PM; Arrival: 10:50 PM

Jaipur to Udaipur:

Flight no. SG-3261 – Departure: 10:40 AM; Arrival: 11:30 AM

Udaipur to Jaipur:

Flight no. SG-3262 – Departure: 11:50 AM; Arrival: 12:45 PM

Jaipur to Ahmedabad:

Flight no. 6E-6378 – Departure: 11:15 AM; Arrival: 12:30 PM
