With a new expressway built, Jaipur to Delhi will be 2 hours and Mumbai just 10 hours, cars will be able to drive at a speed of 120 KM/hr. There will not be a breaker or even a pothole anywhere along the entire route, helicopter landing will be possible on the road. The country’s longest 8-lane Expressway will start in the new year.

This is Asia’s first Animal Overpass Expressway passing through Rajasthan. It can be called the country’s first ‘stretchable highway’, which can be expanded from 8 to 12 lanes if needed. The country’s first electric lane will also be built. 

This expressway will connect seven districts of Rajasthan to Delhi and Mumbai. The 8-lane Delhi Mumbai Expressway will be 1350 km long, the longest highway in Rajasthan after Gujarat. The expressway highway will pass through five states including 426 km in Gujarat, 373 km in Rajasthan, 244 km in Madhya Pradesh, 171 km in Maharashtra, 129 km in Haryana. 

From the rest area to security, emergency, food, facility, this highway has every facility. The expressway will have roads made with German technology that will not break for 50 years. Apart from this, toll money will also have to be paid less than other expressways.  

CCTV Security every 500 meters

CCTVs have been installed at every 500 meters on the highway. With this, cameras will be on the vehicle wherever they go. A complete record of movement of the vehicle will be available.

Breaker Free Highway

Breakers have not been installed anywhere on the entire highway from Delhi to Vadodara. The highway has been made very high. Barricading has been done on both sides of the highway so that stray animals do not come on the road.

Speed ​​Governor on entire highway

Speed ​​displays have been installed on the entire highway. The speed of 120 kmph has been fixed for vehicles. If someone drives faster than the fixed speed, then a fine will be deducted online. The message of speed challan will come immediately on the mobile. 

Fine on stopping the car suddenly

Officials of the National Highway said that the maximum speed here will be 120 km per hour. You cannot stop the vehicle anywhere on the highway without any technical fault. The charge will be deducted if the vehicle is suddenly stopped. There will be permitted to stop the vehicle only in the rest area.

Mobile van will reach immediately in case of an accident

If a vehicle collides with another vehicle at speed on the expressway, the mobile van will reach immediately. In case of an accident, the vehicle will be immediately removed with the help of a crane. While the injured will be taken to the rest area. From there he will be sent to the hospital.

Rest areas at every 50 km

The rest areas will be made at every 50 km on the side of the highway at 93 places. The rest area will have a hotel for night stay, an ATM for cash, Food Court, Burger King, Subway, Mc Donald, General Store for people coming from long distances. There will also be a bus stop in the rest area itself. There will be a fun park and swings for the children to play.

Helipad and Trauma Center at 100 km. 

Trauma centers will be made at every 100 km on the Expressway where people injured in accidents and people in medical emergencies will be treated immediately. A 24-hour ambulance with medical staff will be stationed at the trauma center. Helipads will also be made here for air ambulances. 

Toll will be deducted on exit and not on entry

No toll will be charged at the time of your entry on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. The toll will only be deducted while exiting the highway. With this, the more you have travelled, the more toll will be charged. On the other hand, the cost of toll will be much less as compared to other highways. 

Tiger will pass under the highway through a 4-kilometer-long tunnel in the National Park. 

This will be the first highway in Asia to have a green overpass for wildlife. The world’s second-largest green overpass is being prepared between Bundi-Sawai Madhopur. Five green overpasses are being made at an interval of about every three and a half kilometers. This overpass is being built on the corridor between Ranthambore National Park, Bundi Ramgarh Tiger Reserve and Kota Mukundra Hills Tiger Reserve. These overpasses will not cause any problem to the tiger, leopard or other wildlife living in the three national parks. Apart from this, an eight-lane wide 4 kilometer long tunnel is being built in Mukundra Hills Tiger Reserve. The second tunnel will be built in the Matheran Eco Sensitive Zone of Maharashtra.

Use of German technology on the expressway

The expressway road is constructed with German technology which will continue for 50 years. The entire raw material for making the road has also been imported from Germany. The top layer of the road is made from German technology Stone Matrix Asphalt. Due to this reason the road will not be broken for 50 years whereas other highways break down within 10 to 15 years. Also, as per german technique use of coarse fiber granules in making of the road will benefit in bearing higher load of loading vehicles. Large grains, crystals or clasts are embedded in it.

Responsibility of the maintenance company for 10 years

After the completion of the Delhi-Vadodara-Mumbai Expressway, the responsibility of maintenance will remain with the construction company. For 10 years, if there is any fault or wear and tear anywhere in the entire express highway, then the company will get it repaired. Digging to lay water pipelines or power lines or digging of any kind will not be allowed on the highway. The company will file an FIR against the concerned.
