Invest Rajasthan Summit – 2022 in Jaipur on October 7-8

The ‘Invest Rajasthan Summit’ is all set to be held in Rajasthan on the 7th and 8th of October at JECC Sitapura, Jaipur. JDA has started marking preparations for welcoming the guests and beautifying the areas around and leading to the venue. Invest Rajasthan Summit is being organized to encourage investment in the capital by the state government. 

In this summit, the government has set a target of investment of Rs 10 lakh crore. A customized package for 32 projects has been approved for the promotion of investments worth more than Rs 1.42 lakh crore in the state. With this, more than 32 thousand people will get employment opportunities in the state.

A three-day tour will be conducted from October 6 to October 8 to various sightseeing places in the city. Special lighting has been done on Walled City gates and Jal Mahal including Jorawar Singh Gate along with Sanganeri Gate, New Gate and Ajmeri Gate.

Various beautification works will be undertaken including planting trees on both sides of the JLN Marg and also on the road connecting Akshay Patra to Mahal Yojana. The Enforcement Branch removed about 275 permanent and temporary encroachments on this route.

Ambani-Adani will make big investment

India’s leading industrialists Ambani and Adani Group will also make major investments. Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance New Solar and Gautam Adani’s Adani Green Energy will invest in the energy sector. Mukesh Ambani’s firm Reliance New Solar has tied up with the Rajasthan government for an investment of about Rs 1 lakh crore in the state. Adani Green Energy has expressed its desire to set up energy projects worth Rs 60,000 crore.

The Rajasthan government has implemented several important policies and programs to increase investment. Many facilities are being given to investors through MSME Policy-2022, Handicraft Policy-2022, Tourism Promotion Policy-2022, Rajasthan Investment Promotion Scheme-RIPS-2019), Rajasthan Industrial Development Policy-2019 and One Stop Shop System.
