It later turned to a royal guesthouse and hunting lodge. Rambagh Palace then became the permanent residence of Jaipur’s Maharaja in 1925. Soon, one of the world’s luxurious hotels, Taj Group of Hotels, bought it. From then this luxury hotel follows the tradition of Rajput hospitality. They offer their guests a taste of royal living, an extravagance that used to be in royal kings. Its elegantly established rooms, marbled hallways, airy porches and grand gardens spread over 48 acres, speaks the legacy it carries.
