Homeopathic drug ‘Arsenic Album-30’ for prevention of coronavirus infection

The danger has started spreading all around as the number of cases, deaths, and countries affected by the deadly new strain of coronavirus continues.

The AYUSH ministry has issued a health advisory to avoid serious consequences. The Scientific Advisory Board of the Central Council for Research in Homeopathy has recommended that homeopathic medicine ‘Arsenic Album-30’ could be effective in the prevention of novel coronavirus (nCoV) infections.

The homeopathic drug Arsenicum album 30 should be taken empty stomach daily for three days as preventive medicine against the infection. The dose should be taken again after one month if the infection persists. The dose of this medicine can also be taken for the prevention of diseases like influenza.

According to the Ministry of AYUSH, Ayurvedic herbs like Tulsi, Black Pepper, and Pippali can protect people. The advisory advises the common man to stay clean and prefer digestible and light diet to prevent coronavirus. While homeopathy drug Arsenic album-30 is said to protect against coronavirus infection it is also recommended immunomodulatory drugs as per Ayurvedic practices. Ayurveda advises taking the following measures.

Boil 5 grams of powdered pepper, black pepper and dry ginger with 3 to 5 leaves of basil in 1 liter of water, till the water remains half. Fill this water in a bottle and drink it slowly. 

Take Seshamani Vati 500 mg 2 times daily. Also, put two drops of sesame oil in the nose in the morning. Don’t take without the doctor’s advice.

Novel coronavirus (nCoV) is a group of viruses that causes illnesses ranging from the common cold to acute respiratory syndromes. The virus that has so far killed 132 people and many people are under observation in hospitals. The virus has been said to appear from the seafood and animal market in Wuhan city.

In India, there are several people suspected of coronavirus infection in several states including Delhi, Maharashtra, Goa, Odisha, and Rajasthan. People returning from China are being regularly screened at airports across the country for the deadly virus.
