Good news for Hajj applicants, 1336 waiting seats cleared

The Rajasthan State Haj Committee has received 10,777 applications for Hajj pilgrimage. Around 6600 people have already been selected by the committee. The number will likely to go 7000, said officials of the committee.

Earlier 5264 hajj applicants were selected for the hajj pilgrimage. 1336 applicants were on the waiting list and now has been cleared. So far 6600 people will get a chance to go for Hajj.

The process of registration for ‘Haj Pilgrimage Yatra 2019’ was started last year in October by the Central Haj Committee of India.

An official of Rajasthan Haj Welfare society Hazi Javed Kagzi said that the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman declared to increase 25,000 seats for Hajj on his visit to India recently.

The first flight of the Hajj pilgrims from India will departure on July 1 and will return on August 14 in 2019. The dates of all the activities and processes for Haj Tour have been released.

The Haj is an annual Islamic pilgrimage to Mecca of Saudi Arabia. It is a mandatory religious duty for all adult Muslims that must be carried out at least once in their lifetime.
