Ganesh chaturthi preparations at full fervor at Moti Dungri temple in Jaipur, mehndi will be distributed like prasad, special entry-exit arrangements.

The festival of Ganesh Chaturthi will be celebrated in the entire state today, preparations have been done in the temples of Jaipur. After two years of gap, Ganesh Chaturthi will be celebrated with full enthusiasm at Moti Dungri Ganesh Temple in Jaipur. On this occasion, a huge fair will be organized and a large number of devotees will come to visit here. 

Special Mehendi as prasad at Moti Dungri temple 

Mehndi Pujan and Sinjara festival has been celebrated at Moti Dungri Ganesh Temple in Jaipur and Lord Ganesha was made to wear mehendi. This mehendi is distributed to the devotees. Thousands of people come to the temple in large numbers to collect this mehndi. This mehndi is considered to be very auspicious especially for those young men and women who are not getting married.

Mehndi distribution at Moti Dungri temple 

Temple Mahant Kailash Sharma said that there is a belief that by applying this mehndi, those unmarried girls or young men get married whose marriage does happen for some reason. It is believed that after applying this mehndi, the boy and girl get married within a year. The Mehndi distribution will be done from 8 pm, which will last till late night. For this 5 separate counters have been arranged for women and men. 

He added that every year this Mehndi is ordered from Sojat in Pali district. Apart from the temple trust, this Mehandi is provided by many devotees on their behalf. This year, 3100 kg henna has been ordered from Sojat. More than 15 people prepared it and more than 40 big utensils were used here to dissolve it. After dissolving the henna, it is distributed as prasad. 

Ganesh Chaturthi timings 

After the Mehndi Puja and Sinjara festival, the Ganesh Chaturthi festival will be celebrated today. The Darshan are open from 12 pm on August 30 to August 31 at 12 pm. Only for a few minutes in between, Pat Mangal will be done to offer Bhog to the Lord and change his clothes.

Mangala Aarti will be held at 4 am, special pooja at 11:20 am, Shringar Aarti at 11:30 am, Bhog Aarti at 2:15 pm, Sandhya Aarti at 7 pm and Shayan Aarti at 11:45 pm.

Gajanan procession will be taken out on September 1

There will be around 80 tableaux in the procession, of which 25 will be electronic tableaux. In a big tableau, Ganeshji will be seen playing the drums. A glimpse of the elixir of freedom will be seen in the procession.

Special arrangements made for entry-exit of devotees 

Special traffic arrangements will be made on Ganesh Chaturthi, on August 30 from 11 pm to September 1. For this, the Jaipur Traffic Police has made special entry-exit plans to ensure that the traffic is not disrupted. The vehicles will not be able to go towards Moti Dungri temple, parking has been arranged in all four directions. Different lines are arranged for the devotees to reach the temple premises.Prasad brought from outside the temple will not be allowed to be offered to the deity.
