Bharat Jodo Yatra marks its 100 Day journey today, will celebrate the foot march with a concert program to be held at Jaipur's Albert Hall

On completion of 100 days of Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra, Bharat Jodo Concert is being organized on Friday at Albert Hall, Ramniwas Bagh, Jaipur. The 2735 km foot march, which began from Kanyakumari on September 7, marked its 100 days on Friday, during the 12th day of its Rajasthan leg, Dausa is the 36th district of the journey. 

Many VVIPs including Rahul Gandhi and the Chief Minister of Rajasthan will be involved in this. Also, ministers, students, special invitees and a large number of workers and common people are expected to attend the organized program. Special arrangements have been made for smooth and orderly operation of traffic.

Highlights of the foot march 

Health checkups are performed every week. Roasted gram and lemonade are increasing energy in the diet of Rahul and 119 travellers to India. Kiwi, apple and other fruits are also given to the travellers in the morning, evening and in afternoon. 

There is a separate container of the library. It contains one thousand books in both Hindi and English languages. The mobile library has politics, history, religion-culture, positive thinking, and motivational books.

FIFA World Cup matches are also shown to participants at night halts. LEDs screens are set up to watch football matches. Rahul Gandhi himself also watches the match along with the participants.

The Bharat Jodo Yatra will cover 3,570 km by next year. With this longest march on foot Rahul Gandhi aims to mobilize the party cadre and unite the general public against the alleged “divisive politics in the country”. 

So far, the Bharat Jodo Yatra has covered parts of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, and Maharashtra, and is now in Rajasthan. It will end in Kashmir next year.
